Job description
You will play a crucial role in mapping out solutions for our growing portfolio of B2B websites and integrated platforms.
In securing the highest level of expertise, you will work closely with our Senior UX & Service Designer – but we depend on your ability to work independently as well.
As a UX Designer, you will also function as the Product Owner throughout the entire project, taking the lead and working proactively on delivering a final solution that lives up to the client’s needs.
Communicating effectively with different stakeholders is hence key, as you will be interfacing with both project managers, designers, and developers internally, as well as clients ranging from technical experts to those with limited digital knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to comprehend user needs and behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers among others.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of digital development and products.
- Prioritize a strong business understanding over excessively detailed wireframes.
- Create strategic designs that align with business objectives.
- Take initiative and proactively drive digital projects forward.
- Be the closest ally to project managers.
- Effectively communicate complex technical elements to clients with varying levels of digital knowledge.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role – +3 years of experience is plus.
- Bonus points if you have agency experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing prior UX design projects.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital development and products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional business understanding.
- Being proactive and assuming a leadership role with ease.
